I'm a terrible hoarder - have to spend around 5 minutes in every single room to make sure I haven't missed anything and I can't even sell some things I know I'll never use just because they sound/look awesome.
The hate bits were the numerous crashes I experienced (I'm talking every 30 minutes) yet everything else I loved. When they say that there is no going back so MAKE THAT SAVE! Keep everyone (minor and major factions alike) as sweet as possible until you side with your chosen main faction. This usually involves the faction leader saying that you are now going to have to kill x member of x faction. The most important thing to recognise if the point at which you are going to start pissing off another faction. When it gets to that point save and continue the faction's main quest you wish to whilst optionally finishing off the side quests listed above (some side quests you will have to finish). Once you've spoken to Mother Pearl at the end of this quest the Boomers will be an ally with you (and your chosen faction).Īs regards the main quests, I started all four ( Render Unto Caesar, For the Republic, The House Always Wins and Wild Card up until the point it becomes obvious that you are going to piss off another of the main factions. Complete it up until the point you return to Mother Pearl for the last time. Volare! - Long quest (including all of the other associated side quests). Mr House and Caesar want the Brotherhood destoyed (use the control panel in their base and run!)ħ. If allying with NCR or Yes Man you can choose not to destroy the Brotherhood. Still in the Dark - Complete this quest to the point where you have to (optionally) destroy the Brotherhood of Steel.
Oh My Papa - Only complete if allying with NCR and break the Great Khans' alliance with Caesar's Legion.Ħ. Boulder City Showdown - I ensured that the Great Khans were able to leave without being massacred but also keeping the NCR sweet.ĥ. Beyond the Beef - Ally with the White Glove Society (Keeps Ceasar happy, no other main faction cares).Ģ. The best thing to do is to deal with Benny how and when you see fit and complete as many of these side quests as possible before siding with a faction.ġ.
